Celebrating Mughal India with Music, Song and Dance

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art hosted a celebration of Mughal India through music, song and dance on Saturday, April 4, bringing together captivating South Asian art and musical performances by Kansas City's Indian and Pakistani communities. Photographers Rachael Jane and Dustin Draper documented the vivid colors, graceful movements, and cultural demonstration.

Grand Opening

The Foundation Room, an event space located at Foundation Architectural Reclamation in the West Bottoms, held a grand opening party over the weekend. The event included a fashion show, aerial fabric performers, live music, and the Urban Bazaar shopping extravaganza.
