Bartenders Craig Keane and Victor Swerdlove know how to make a satisfying drink, deliver a wisecrack, and pause to listen if a story is interesting. They are just two of many reasons to frequent this true neighborhood restaurant. Other reasons include Chef John Williams' killer menu of goodies like beef or chicken potpie, strip steak, perfectly cooked fish, scallops, and mussels, and spinach Brie tart.
A true neighborhood restaurant like PotPie serves as a gathering place, a communal hearth, where people gather to eat and drink and make merry. When we claim a local restaurant in the neighborhood as our own, we seek more than sating our appetites. (Read more about the restaurant in our 2005 story.)
